Idea 2 . COVID-19 Today

 

As ever raising the issue of ´COVID´ , displayed in Spain , from the point of view on engineering must be seen taking into account the lectures of machines´ design.

Firstable, the core of this subject is the relationship between resistance and force exerted over the machine´s element that gives us  the evidence of failure.

Secondly , this relationship says whether  the element is going to fail or not and finally we know  if we have a good design.

On the one hand, Within this concept  of failure we got one static in time which produce a deformation until reaching to the broken down as foreseeable. This was seen in Spain in the first event of ´COVID´ where the goal was to reduce this curve , everybody heard the term

´mountain´ until worn out , but  for being  fair this  task was fulfilled.

On the other hand, now we have a number  of events called waves and to explain that one has the issue called dynamic failure produced by alternating loads represented in the spanish case as peaks of ´COVID´ in the curves.Indeed,this in a first view should not care about us but the main pattern of this type of failure is that it  occurs without warning us,

so we are in a rather dangerous situation.

Therefore, I think  that we are in the worse situation because if we fail , it will be unnoticed 

and it can take aback  all the society .Moreover , If the blackout  doesn´t produce , It is likely we will  need  to be carried to a stable point by a supportive country. 

Summarising, this matter is a hot potato for states which could end up with dreadery consequences.God bless us if that happens.
